Since I’ve discovered that Cruise vacations totally rule and are among the most enjoyable vacations one can take, I’ve also realized the importance of having at least a couple of attractive, well-fitting pieces of swimwear. Because eventually, you are going to get wet, and you want to look good.

Yesterday I attended a fun press preview of Land’s End Clothing’s Spring 2013 line and fell in love with a collection of their new swimsuits in one of my favorite all-season colors: Black.

With my bikini-wearing days now behind me, it’s fantastic to find a selection of one-piece suits that not only flatter the figure, but manage to look both classic and fashion-forward at the same time. I may want a more forgiving style than a 20 year old, but I am not quite ready to swim in a dress.

It’s an added bonus that any of these styles are ideal for transitioning from the poolside to the party with the addition of a cute cover-up (such as the one pictured above) or wrap sarong. Expect to see these suits selling in the very affordable $55.00 – $65.00 price range.
