Beverage Review: Seagram’s Escapes Blackberry Breezer

Seagrams Escapes Four Pack

Seagram’s Escapes is an amazingly delicious line of flavored Malt Beverages (Read: Fruit Flavored Beer) that reminds me of those Bartles & Jaymes Wine Coolers I used to get so wasted on back when I was in College.

The brand has been around for years, but they introduce new flavors every so often to keep things lively.  Earlier this year, they sent me a four pack of their recently introduced Blackberry Breezer flavor.  These tall, slender bottles of tasty beverage have been chilling in my fridge, while I waited for the weather to get warm and sunny enough that I could take them out to my front porch and photograph them. But I was also awaiting the seasonal onset of summery weather that inspires one to lounge hedonistically by a pool and drink fruity beverages. That day came today.

Blackberry Breezer tastes like Blackberry and Pear juice mixed together and it goes down very smooth. Unless you weigh less than 100 pounds, it takes at least two to get a decent buzz, but they taste so fruity, light and refreshing that maybe this will not be your go-to beverage to get slammed. Maybe save that for the vodka and cranberry juice.
