Rad Website of the Day: Burger Conquest!

Trailer Park Lounge Cheeseburger and Tots!

When it comes to tasty foods, the Cheeseburger (or, even better, the Bacon Cheeseburger) is high on the list of our favorites here at The Worley Gig. Last night, I was making the scene at Heavy Metal Happy Hour over at Arrow Bar on Avenue A and had the pleasure to make the acquaintance of Dave (aka The Rev) who, among other daily pursuits that rock, is on the quest to find the most delicious Burger – not just here in NYC but perhaps in the entire world.

Dave’s website, which finely documents his search for the Holy Grail of Beefy Goodness, is called The Great Burger Conquest, and it is totally rad. Burger Conquest is loaded with fun reviews of all the places where Dave has eaten a burger, accompanied by mouth-watering pictures and fun commentary. You’ll also find quizzes you can take about what toppings you like on your burger, and stuff like that. Very fun!

Currently, Burger Conquest’s list of where to find the Top 5 Burgers in NYC includes: Old Homestead, 5 Guys Burgers and Fries, Trailer Park Lounge, Burger Joint, and Royale – none of whose burgers I have actually consumed, yet. So I will be putting those restaurants on my list of places to hit up in my own person quest for the best cheeseburger in New York City. Thanks Dave and good luck with your Burger Conquest!

  1. I can destroy a plate of tater tots anytime, anywhere.

I had seen Rev’s site already….and support his conquest 200 percent…all hail the burger!

  2. Five Guys is very good, especially considering it’s a chain. If you go, don’t order fries; they’re good, but they give you WAY too many. Order a second burger instead.

  3. After studying the burg n’ tots pic, I think that sucker can be repro’d here at home. Gotta git me a dang trailer though…
