Hot on the heels of the Summer Fancy Food Show, which invaded Javits Center for three days straight, our favorite seasonal gourmet food showcase, Food Fete, took place just a few blocks east of the convention center, celebrating the largest showing of food and beverage products in its nine-year history! Here are  some of our favorite products from the show!

Crispy Green Freeze Dried Fruit

Crispy Green makes packaged freeze dried fresh fruit. We sampled the Freeze Dried Tangerines and were delightfully surprised to discover that this snack looks just like freshly peeled tangerine segments, except they are crunchy like chips, while maintaining the tangy taste of the fruit! Very fun!

Amy's Kitchen Brownies and Ice Cream

You might be familiar with Amy’s Kitchen frozen entrees, but did you know that this company makes a comprehensive line of foods including delicious gluten-free brownies and cookies, and coconut water based frozen dessert? I had no idea! Amy’s served up a tiny brownie sundae which was very yummy.

Snake River Farms Kobe Beef Sliders

Snake River Farms Kobe Beef Sliders were a huge hit with the meat lovers!

Daiya Dairy Free Cream Chees

Daiya Dairy Free Cream Cheese style spreads come in Plain, Strawberry, and Chive & Onion flavors. The tiny cheese cakes they presented at Food Fete were especially delicious, and the Strawberry flavored spread (made with real strawberries) is to die for.

Stonemill Kitchens Artichoke Dip

Fans of Artichoke dips and spreads are advised to seek out Stonemill Kitchens Artichoke Dip. Talk about gourmet! This brand is ideal for making snacks for your next cocktail party.

Mia's Kitchen Pasta Sauce

Not only is Mia’s Kitchen’s jarred pasta sauce among the best tasting prepared sauces I’ve enjoyed, but they definitely deserve kudos for having the most appealing booth display at the show.

Delverde Pasta

You’re going to need some pasta to go with that sauce. I recommend Delverde Pasta. They make an amazing no-boil lasagna noodle that you layer into your dish uncooked, then bake as usual. The pasta cooks with the sauce and comes out perfect.

Late July Organic Snacks

Late July Organic Snacks makes a wide variety of flavored corn chips that taste fantastic and are a healthier choice than Doritos.

California Milk Advisory Board Cheese Balls

The California Milk Advisory Board served a nice selection of fresh, gourmet cheese balls.

Pepperidge Farm Mac and Cheese Goldfish

Pepperidge Farm Mac and Cheese Goldfish Crackers. Because yes.
