Here at The ‘Gig, where we only write about things that we love, we especially love to write about Food and Art. And on the rare occasion when the two worlds collide, it is an act of pure kismet which we simply must share with you. In this case, we recently received a review copy of Curious Feast: 100 Food Art Postcards, which — if you love food and art — is the most fantastic thing you can imagine owning.

Curious Feast includes a set of 10 postcards each by 10 different artists, all packaged in a collectible, full color postcard box format, to keep them clean and organized. Each featured artist specializes in food-related art, whether it’s a realistic bowl of Ramen, a surreal mashup of different foods (See above photo), a sculpture that looks good enough to eat, a joke (like spaghetti western — HA), or a hand-written recipe.
