“Gail seems to posses an innate gift for filtering through lots of information and getting right down to the brass tax of any given piece she is working on. I have been so impressed with her keen eye for detail and her easygoing approach to doing what she does, and doing it right. Much love and respect to Gail Worley.”
I Wonder if Damien Hirst had a hand in creating this amazing bit of bathroom bling? The 50,000 shimmering stones encrusting this lovely toilet by designer Jemal Wright aren’t real diamonds — but who cares? The toilet is forever. The artist’s other bathroom fixtures include chrome-plated porcelain and crystalline patterns hand-laid on sinks or even urinals. Your price? About $75,000.
In celebration of one of my very favorite days to play awesome pranks on unsuspecting victims friends, have fun browsing through Museum of Hoaxes Top 100 Best April Fools Day Hoaxes of All Time . My favorites are Burger King’s invention of the “Left-Handed Whopper” and the one where Alabama announces they’ve changed the value of Pi.
When Hate Eternal frontman Erik Rutan decided to take the band’s new line-up from a trio to a quartet, he enlisted death metal veterans Alex Webster (Cannibal Corpse) on bass and guitarist Shaune Kelley (Ripping Corpse) as well as a sick young drummer from Montreal, Jade Simonetto (of metalcore sensations, Camilla Rhodes) whose furious skin bashing provides a scorching backdrop for Fury & Flames, Hate Eternal’s fourth studio album. Rutan comments that Jade’s “dedication to extreme drumming and groove has made him the perfect drummer for Hate Eternal.”
