I was ten the first time I heard the classic Cheech and Chong bit “Dave’s Not Here” on a record owned by the stoner older sister of my best friend. At the time, my child mind could not grok why this somewhat tedious riff was funny at all in any way. Now that I’m older and more experienced, I totally get why “Dave’s Not Here” is pure comedy gold, and possibly the most brilliant piece of stoner comedy every created. Just being serious.

If  you did not have to Google “Dave’s Not Here” to understand what I’m talking about, you may appreciate the idea of owning these super comfy-looking slippers, sporting a muted pot leaf design and adorned at the front with the likenesses of Tommy Chong and Cheech Marin — the beloved and legendary stoner comedy duo who just may be more significant to the 420 Lifestyle than any other celebrities.
