Nestled in Manhattan’s Sutton Place neighborhood, 787 Coffee is a cozy, standalone café offering  exceptional Puerto Rican coffee  and an immersive  street art experience. The café’s exterior is adorned with a colorful, vibrant mural that wraps around the entire building, capturing the essence of Puerto Rico’s lush coffee farms, and bringing a visual taste of the island’s natural culture to New York City.

This captivating artwork was created in November of 2023 by artist Gabriel Abast (@abast_art), who has expressed immense gratitude for the opportunity to paint a large mural in NYC, calling it a dream come true. The mural not only enhances the visual appeal of the café but also serves as a testament to 787 Coffee’s commitment to celebrating and sharing Puerto Rican heritage.

This location is part of the 787 Coffee chain, which brings Puerto Rican coffee culture to NYC. The café offers a variety of beverages, including specialty lattes like Coquito, Horchata, and Mazapan. It’s a small space with limited seating, featuring an upstairs area and a selection of merchandise such as mugs and pins. Located at 401 East 58th Street between First Avenue and Sutton Place, the café is open daily from 7 AM to 7 PM.
