Dropping this December, Meals to Astonish #1 is a one-shot anthology that serves up equal parts superhero action, culinary adventures, and real-life recipes worthy of Earth’s Mightiest Eaters.
This oversized issue brings together an all-star creative team including Steve Orlando, Ken Niimura, Michelin Star Chef Paul Eschbach, and artist E.J. Su. Writer Steve Orlando says the project is personal, noting, “With my own secret origin, working in the wine and spirits world before comics stepped in, this feels like kismet. The worlds I love most —comics and food — are finally colliding in a delicious and exciting way!”
The T.E.S.T. Kitchen Infinity Comic: Chef Anna Ameyama is living her dream running a food truck — until an Iron Man battle leaves it totaled. However, when Tony Stark samples her cooking, he hires her as his personal chef! Bonus: the comic comes with Anna’s recipes straight from Michelin Star Chef Paul Eschbach, so you can actually eat like an Avenger in real life.
Jeff’s Table: Marvel’s most lovable land shark gets his own foodie spotlight. Jeff the Land Shark has conquered our hearts, and now he’s out to conquer our stomachs — with predictably adorable chaos in the kitchen.
