In this week’s Design post, we are going to step out a bit and have some fun exploring the world of the X-Men comics, checking out what all the cool Mutants wear when they head out to do some serious partying!
This June, the Hellfire Trading Company invites readers everywhere to the inaugural Hellfire Gala to announce the first team of Krakoan X-Men to the world and unveil the startling plans that mutantkind has in store for the Marvel Universe. The Hellfire Gala will unfold in issues of your favorite ongoing X-Men series as well as Planet-Size X-Men, a special double-sized one-shot. These twelve issues will all center around a single night that will go down in Marvel Comics history and while it’s too early to reveal the world-shattering steps mutantkind is about to take, one thing is for certain: the X-Men have never looked better!
Just as ABC did for a TV Show Reboot that is, thankfully, no longer on the air, Playstation has launched an immersive ad campaign for the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man Game in the Subway Cars that run on the S Shuttle line along 42nd Street between Times Square and Grand Central Station.
As you can see, the cars are quite vibrant and inviting on the exterior, but the interiors are also full of fun details that you might miss if you don’t look closely.
Check out the Spider on each seat back!
And while at first glance it appears that some inconsiderate riders have left their newspapers behind on the seats, let’s take a closer look.
It’s the Daily Bugle!
The trip is only one-minute between stations, but the car was still a kick to ride in!
Marvel’s Spider-Man Game for PS4 will be released September 7th, 2018. Find out more at This Link!

Nobody throws a party quite like the Discovery Center in Times Square, but they out did themselves this past Thursday as a crowd of 700 invited guests gathered for the opening night launch of Discovery’s newest state-of-the-art exhibit Marvel’s AVENGERS S.T.A.T.I.O.N. – which is a must see attraction for Marvel Comics fans.
It was fun to get a preview of the exhibit in a setting that wasn’t rushed and allowed us space to take decent photos. I’d also like to give a shout out to whoever catered the event, as the food – which included Lobster Brioche, Shrimp Toasts, Mini Big Macs, Chicken Quesadillas and Chocolate Mini Cupcakes (courtesy of Georgetown Cupcake) was also among the best party food I’ve ever had. And now, on to the exhibit!
Marvel’s AVENGERS S.T.A.T.I.O.N. (Scientific Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network) The Exhibition is a completely immersive experience that brings visitors into the world of The AVENGERS. Visitors of all ages are granted S.H.I.E.L.D. access to the official S.T.A.T.I.O.N. headquarters and taken deep into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
