MC5: Michael Davis is on the Far Right
Michael Davis, the bassist of influential late 1960s rock band MC5, has passed away due to liver failure, his wife announced on Saturday, February 18th. He was 68 years old. Davis’ death leaves Guitarist Wayne Kramer and Drummer Dennis Thompson as the band’s only surviving original members. On This Date, September 17th, In 1991: Rob “Robin” Tyner (born Robert Derminer), lead singer of the MC5 died of a heart attack in the seat of his parked car in his hometown of Berkley, Michigan. He was 46 years old. Kick out the Jams, Rob.
