Does anyone know what kind of car this is? My friend Sue took the above photo of it while she was idling at an intersection somewhere in suburban San Diego. I put it into a Google Image Search but could not find any car that looked even remotely like it. It is pretty cool, don’t you think? To me, this tiny red, pod-shaped car looks a little bit like a fancy shoe! I bet it gets excellent mileage!

Italian automotive excellence meets the art of the street in this bitchen graffiti art car by John “CRASH” Matos. The custom-painted 2005 Ferrari F 430 was on display curbside last evening in front of the Dorian Grey Gallery on East 9th Street as part of the opening reception festivities for its Strada Veloce exhibit, which opened yesterday. Strada Veloce, loosely translated, is Italian for “Fast Road.”

I was so smitten by this Yellow Mustang of indeterminate model year that I stopped to take photos of it in the rain. The car was parked on a street in Long Island City and even though it has a bit of tree detritus on the hood (from the rain) it still looks like a sweet ride.
I once had a boyfriend who drove a car that somewhat resembled this one, but that is a story that takes too long to talk about.

Over at Jalopnik, this Russian PT Cruiser Wedding Limo (yes, I just typed that) is taking a lot of shit for being what it is. But, really, isn’t this car actually all kinds of awesome? It reminds me of Disneyland. I just love it!
