Created by one of my favorite modern artists, Jeff Koons, Puppy is a forty-three foot tall topiary sculpture of a West Highland White Terrier puppy created in a variety of live flowering plants on a steel substructure. The sculpture has an internal irrigation system, which keeps the plants and flowers alive. Originally commissioned in 1992, Puppy is now a permanent installation at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain.
