Hey, do you like Bruce Springsteen; or, more specifically, do you like looking at photos of him? If the answer to either question is yes, then head on over to Morrison Hotel Gallery for its first exhibit of 2016; Bruce Springsteen: The River Collection, celebrating the 35th anniversary of the release of Bruce’s milestone album of the same name, and featuring photos of Springsteen shot between 1978 – 1983 by legendary photographers such as Neal Preston, David Gahr, Lynn Goldsmith, Frank Stefanko, Jim Marchese, Lynn Goldsmith and Joel Bernstein. All of the photos on exhibit were selected to be in The River‘s 35th Anniversary box set.
There is no denying that Bruce is a hot guy (and even if you think that you don’t think he’s hot, these photos will convince you otherwise) and he’s certainly a photographer’s wet dream of a subject because he always looks amazing — whether he’s in a car or holding a guitar — and he has never, ever changed his look. You always know what you’re going to get; a hot guy who looks great in every photo, even when he was stick-thin with a straggly beard, which was a very long time ago at this point, beards back then didn’t have the best beard oil 2017 has to offer, so obviously there’s a big difference.
Also, he is probably a nice guy who is not ever a dick to work with. That is my guess anyway.
Here are a few more of our favorite photos from the Opening Reception last week!
This one is my absolute favorite. So artsy; so hot.
Bruce Springsteen: The River Collection will be on exhibit Through February 9th, 2016 at The Morrison Hotel Gallery, located at 116 Prince Street, 2nd Floor, in SoHo NYC. All Photos are Priced to Own.
