There’s a fancy bakery on the upper west side where people will wait in line on the street for an hour to buy these humongous 6-ounce chocolate chip cookies for which they are renown. The cookies are so huge that one can easily be shared by two or more normal-size adults and no one would feel like they are missing out. Just being serious. A while back, a friend gifted me a few of the gluten-free version of these cookies (note: I am not gluten free). I appreciated the gift, because I know the cookies were expensive, and I really wanted to like them, but they were honestly not good; being excessively dry, crumbly and lacking flavor in a way that all the chocolate chips and walnuts on earth could not overcome.
This huge Baking Fail did not turn me off to gluten-free baked goods, because I’ve reviewed delicious gluten-free cookies and brownies for this website before, so I know they exist. Even better, Good Hope gluten-free bakery recently sent me a sample variety pack of their cookies and brownies that were, hands-down, the best I’ve tasted to-date. Today, I share this good news with you.

Good Hope Bakery Variety Pack
Good Hope is a dedicated gluten-free bakery located Utah, where all of their delicious treats are made with gluten-free ingredients. The bakery follows strict protocols to ensure that their products are safe for those with Celiac disease and gluten sensitivity, and their facility is also nut-free, so everyone can enjoy them. Fortunately, their cookies and brownies taste so yummy that they’re quickly becoming a go-to choice for those with no dietary restrictions. Just one bite will tell you why.
The fact is, these cookies do not taste gluten-free, and apparently I am not the only one who feels that way. Good Hope Bakery takes care to use all the best natural ingredients to make sure their cookies taste as if nothing is missing. If you aren’t gluten allergic, but choose to eat gluten-free for better health, I can recommend Good Hope Bakery wholeheartedly.
It should surprise no one that the Brownie was first into my mouth. I found it to be moist, dense with chocolate chips and not crumbly. Note a sprinkling of course sea salt on the top which enhances the Brownie’s rich chocolate flavor. Well done!
This Chocolate Chip cookie looks amazing, am l right? Wait until you taste it. The cookie has a perfect texture — slightly soft but firm. It doesn’t crumble excessively, and the taste is rich and satisfying. These cookies are jam-packed with chocolate chips and other wholesome ingredients that add to the feeling of decadence as you bite into one and savor the flavor.
This a close up of the S’Mores cookie, which is generously studded with gooey marshmallow chunks alongside lots of luscious chocolate chips, to make it pleasantly chewy and indulgent.
Maybe your Mom baked Snickerdoodle cookies for you when you were a kid, or maybe you make them for your family now. The Good Hope Snickerdoodle tastes like the soft cinnamon sugar cookie you crave, while also inducing nostalgia for the holidays. They are irresistible.
And the best part: you can’t tell by these photos, but these cookies are big: measuring 4 1/2 inches across! Wow! Each cookie comes individually wrapped to stay fresh for about 10 days. They also freeze well, and will remain fresh in the freezer up to six months. A good reason to stock up!
Good Hope Bakery ships nationwide: No matter where you are in the US, they can deliver fresh-baked goodness straight to your door — including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico!
