Do you like cookies? I sure do, and I’m always down for trying any kind of new cookies that cross my path, because I’m adventurous like that, and enjoy keep my readers in the loop of what’s new for snacking. Recently, I was introduced to a gluten-free cookie brand called Mightylicious (so clever), which come in seven different varieties!
I’m not prone to making formal New Years’ Resolutions, but one thing I learned while hunkered down at home was how to develop healthier eating habits and stick with them. No one loves to eat more than me, so dieting isn’t my thing; but when I decide to make a change one step at a time, what originally seems daunting can become second-nature. For me, it’s all about baby steps: figuring out what works and making little adjustments as I go, so I don’t get bored or discouraged. Before I even realized how much my habits had changed, I’d dropped ten pounds. It’s been life-changing.
Summer snacking definitely favors grab-and-go convenience, but it’s also about enjoying a great-tasting treat — especially if you are one to indulge your sweet tooth. Fans of cookies, brownies and snack cakes want a fresh, homemade taste, but the field of choices narrows significantly when your are gluten intolerant.
