Spotted bolted to a street sign on the south side of East 13th Street near Avenue A, this striking piece of guerrilla street art reimagines Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg as a punk icon.

Crafted from a repurposed spray paint can, the artwork features a stylized likeness of RBG with vibrant hot pink hair and a graffitied black leather biker jacket — equal parts rebel and role model.
While it bears a strong resemblance to the work of The Postman, there’s no confirmed attribution (yet). Whether it’s his handiwork or the creation of another stealthy East Village talent, it’s a bold, irreverent tribute that perfectly captures the spirit of RBG and the neighborhood she now watches over.
