OK, I realize that Valentine’s Day has passed us by, but it’s still Valentine’s Day month, and that means Pink Things associated with the Day of Love, Candy, and Cuteness are fair game. Thomas Beauty Salon, located at 231 East 14th Street (between 2nd and 3rd Avenues)  was transformed into the  iconic Beauty Bar cocktail lounge over thirty years ago,  and they always have extremely cool themed-displays in their front window as exemplified by this eye-catching window which is just bursting with Pinkness!

As you can see by the chalkboard sign out front, you can still get a manicure served alongside your martini at the Beauty Bar while seated in comfy chairs that might still have an old school bonnet hair dryer attached. Very fun!
