Sixteen Little Baby Toes!

Here at The Worley Gig, we enjoy freakish things. However, we do not generally blog about freaks of nature, because we find that to be in questionable taste. That said, I was oddly charmed by this picture of a Baby born in rural China with eight toes on each foot, because look at all of those little toes! Other than being digitally challenged (he’s apparently got extra fingers but no thumbs, for ten digits on each hand) the baby has a normal face and body and appears to be healthy. Sadness! Legendary drummer and last surviving member of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Mitch Mitchell has passed away on November 12th, 2008 at age 61. RIP, Mitch!

McDonald’s Quarter Pounder Sandwich Arrives in Japan, Gets Own Restaurant

According to Blogger Neil Duckett, the Quarter Pounder sandwich has not yet been introduced to the menu at McDonald’s restaurants in Japan. However, McDonald’s recently opened restaurants simply called Quarter Pounder – without the McDonald’s name or familiar Golden Arches logo – in two Japanese cities. Quarter Pounder restaurants look more like pricey martini bars than fast food joints, and they sell only two menu items: the Quarter Pounder with Cheese and the Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese. Cruise on over to the official Quarter Pounder Website and enjoy all of its minimalist splendor!

Email Correspondence with Bill Collector: Priceless

Click the upcoming hyper-link for a hilarious email trail documenting correspondences between a collection agent named Jane and a guy named David who insists on trying to pay an outstanding bill with a picture he drew of a spider. This totally made my day! As a follow up to the story, David’s drawing  was later auctioned off on eBay!
