Aside from all the terrific Pink Artworks featured at the recent Spring edition of the Affordable Art Fair, the show’s two floors at Metropolitan Pavillion featured trash cans lined with these vibrant Pink and Black Polka Dot trash bags, which it turns out are part of the TRASH Project.
TRASH Project was founded in 2008 by artist and activist Adrian Kondratowicz as an interactive social practice that subverts the daily act of waste creation and disposal. The concept turns standard trash piles into self-generating colorful sculptures.
