Cambio Roasters Coffee: A Sustainable Brew in Every Pod

Do you like Coffee? I sure do. I especially love my K-Cup Coffeemaker for its convenience, ease of clean up, and the seemingly endless variety of flavors and drink types available in those little pods. I love it! But I also love the Earth, and the amount of waste that accumulates in landfills from those same convenient pods is not lost on me. Just because I recycle and compost the pods and their contents doesn’t mean anyone else does.

I’ve used coffee that comes in compostable pods in the past and those are great, but now there’s a new player in the sustainable pod game: Cambio Roasters — the coffee pod company behind the first aluminum K-Cup. Let’s check it out.

Do you like flavored coffees? I sure do. One of my favorite things about owning a single-serve coffee maker is the ridiculous variety of delicious flavored coffees that are available to keep me from ever getting bored with my morning brew. Ahhh! You can imagine then how excited I was to recently discover that the waffle experts at Eggo and the coffee connoisseurs at Two Rivers Coffee Company have united to transform your favorite waffle flavors into expertly brewed blends, resulting in Eggo Coffee. Product Review: Tayst Coffee Roasters Subscription Box Service

Do you like Coffee? I sure do. I especially love my Keurig Coffeemaker for its convenience, ease of clean up, and the seemingly endless variety of flavors and drink types available in those little pods. I love it! But I also love the Earth, and the amount of waste that accumulates in landfills from those same little pods is not lost on me.

A couple of years ago, I actually purchased a set of reusable plastic coffee pods, which can be filled with your own ground coffee, and then washed and reused again and again. They work fine, but the amount of sediment left in the bottom of the coffee cup after drinking is unappealing to me. Faced with this conundrum, I went back to the regular disposable pods. Sorry, Earth.
