Fans of Indian cuisine here in Manhattan are often fiercely loyal to restaurants located in neighborhoods like 6th Street in the East Village or the stretch of lower Lexington Avenue known as Curry Hill. But I like to explore neighborhoods that are maybe not known for having the highest number of Indian restaurants per-block, and see what options there are for dining outside my immediate stomping grounds. This past week, I discovered a true hidden gem (pun intended) on my first visit to Sapphire Cuisines of India on the Upper West Side, and feel like it is already a favorite destination owing to gracious service, lovely décor, and fresh, innovative dishes. Let me tell you about the experience I had dining with my favorite Foodie friend, Anne, at Sapphire.
Ready or not, winter weather is here, so it’s time to protect your lips — your body’s most vulnerable skin — from the damaging effects of dry heat indoors and frigid temperatures and winds outdoors. This time of year, I like to stock up on Lip Balm — keeping a tube on my bedside table, on my desk, and of course in my purse — so that soft and healthy lips are never further away than the end of my wrist. With the holidays coming up, Eco Lips has just introduced their Candy Cane Organic Lip Balm, which comes in the brand’s revolutionary Plant Pod, a patented 100% plastic-free, plant-based packaging that looks and acts like a regular tube. Sustainability never tasted so good!
While the world of organics can appear to be reliant on power structures, there are still steps you can take to ensure your food is of good quality and cultivated organically. It may not be enough to rely just on that little green and white emblem found on packaged items to live a really clean, organic lifestyle. While organically grown food is always better than conventionally grown food, conducting your study and knowing where your food originates from is your best bet. Likewise, if you want to buy organic CBD like CBDfx you need to know how beneficial it is for you.
There can be no doubt that the blissful monk wrapped in a Pink robe is what initially attracts potential buyers to this package of Lesser Evil organic popcorn with Himalayan Pink Salt. To me, popcorn is the most addictive of snack foods, and being organic with all kinds of tasty ingredients, I’m sure this is delicious. I wish I had some right now.
