Everyone who knows me understands that my love for Alice Cooper begins and ends with the original band, for reasons that take too long to talk about. That doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate great ink: so I have to give a shout-out to this beautiful rendition of the cover of Alice’s 1978 solo album From The Inside, which resides on the left forearm of my good friend Teddy. When asked, Teddy admits there isn’t necessarily a ‘good story’ behind the tattoo, but it is pretty sweet!

On This Date, November 27th, In 1970: George Harrison released his first post-Beatles’ solo album All Things Must Pass. The first triple album by a solo artist, the original vinyl release featured two records of rock songs and a third, entitled Apple Jam that was composed of informal jams led by Harrison with musician friends and other famous musicians. Containing the massive hit singles “My Sweet Lord” and “What Is Life,” the album was eventually certified 6x Platinum by the RIAA.
