OK, normally, when I post any photo of a tattoo, it’s because that tattoo is fairly heinous. But this tattoo, depicting Jareth, the Goblin King as portrayed by David Bowie in the 1986 film Labyrinth is, well, quite sharp actually. It’s not necessarily my bag (if I were going for a Bowie Tatt, I’d be much more likely to choose a Ziggy Stardust likeness) but it’s still very skillfully done! What do you think?
That’s a cool looking tattoo… good thing they didn’t capture his extremely tight pants from that movie.
Haha like, artistically, it looks great! But it still begs the question: Why would ANYBODY get a Labyrinth tattoo! Hahahaha. Although I love / hate / love that movie….a tattoo seems extreme. But you know what – it’s such a terrible(ly awesome) idea, that it’s hard NOT to support the Goblin King! That was a lot of back and forth commenting, which clearly means that it has left me mystified.
It’s a cool tattoo but in my opinion doesn’t look that much like Jareth. I’m getting a Labyrinth tattoo myself, btw. I’ve been a fan of that movie since I was a child. 🙂
I think that I met the girl with this tattoo. Her mother was a Bowie freak and she loves Bowie. The colors in this are so realistic. She has two other tattoos of Bowie.
