Do you like Tea? I sure do. Hot, Iced, Whatever; Tea is a marvelous drink whose appeal transitions seamlessly from season to season. Spring in NYC is a great time to rediscover your love of Tea, because there are chilly days when you want to warm up with a cup of hot tea, and a slow move to warmer weather that may have you craving a cold glass of freshly brewed iced tea. With Tea Drops, a delicious and convenient way to drink tea that takes the tea bag completely out of the equation, you can have both!

Tea Drops are organic, finely ground whole leaf teas, pressed into a cute shape.  There is no tea bag to make a mess or to dispose of. The drop dissolves in boiling water, though some ground tea leaves will remain and settle  at the bottom of your cup. These fibers are plant-based and meant to be consumed, so be sure to swirl your cup gently while consuming  (maybe keep a spoon handy for that, if you like) to capture every fiber-rich, Prebiotic-filled sip.

I recently received the Ultimate Tea Sampler for review, which lets tea fans try and enjoy all the varieties of the Tea Drops line. Each Tea Drop is individually wrapped and arrives in a recyclable cardboard gift box that can be repurposed.  Included are a variety of nine different Tea Drops, one of each from the complete line of flavors, based on availability at the time of shipping. You can choose to receive caffeinated or caffeine-free teas in your box.

Flavors I received in my sampler:

Matcha Green Tea, Strawberry Shortcake, Chai Spice, Citrus Ginger, Sweet Peppermint, Turmeric, Thai Tea, Vanilla White Tea, and Rose Earl Grey.

For my first cup, I tried the Matcha Green Tea, which is one of my favorites. The tea drop dissolved almost as soon as I poured hot water into the cup and gave it a quick stir. I made sure to stir the tea a few times while I sipping, and there was very little leaf sediment at the bottom of the cup when I was finished with this very delicious cup of tea. An added pleasure was the lack of a messy, wet tea bag to deal with. Yay!
