Did you know that September is National Honey Month? This is a fact, and it’s also almost October (I know, right?) which means that Pumpkin Spice Season is nearly upon us. What a perfect time then to tell you about my latest outrageous discovery: Whipped Honey with Pumpkin Spice from Savannah Bee Company. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that this stuff is mind blowing.

12 Ounces of Magic in Your Mouth

Here’s a little backstory on my relationship with whipped honey. When I was a kid, my mom used to buy little tubs of whipped honey, which — if you’ve never been lucky enough to taste it — is unlike regular liquid golden honey, because it’s whipped into a smooth and creamy state for a spreadability similar to butter. Seriously, it’s insane, and whipped honey was the only kind of honey I ate until I was well into adulthood and finally had to suck it up and eat regular honey. Sadness.

I first met the folks at Savannah Bee Company at a NY Now Gift Show a few years ago and fell in love with their gourmet whipped honeys in irresistible flavors like Chocolate and Lemon. I could tell that they were the real deal not only because of these pure, delicious flavors, but because of the quality of the honey. I was also impressed with their 20 years in business, Saving the Bees while making all kinds amazing irresistible flavors of whipped honey, regular honey, honey hot sauces, and even bee-powered beauty products. What’s not to like?

This is what the Whipped Honey with Pumpkin Spice looks like on a toasted English Muffin. Look at how it melts and mingles with the butter, leaving little visible flecks of spice. OMG so good. If you have a Pumpkin Spice fan in your family, buy them this honey and they will love you for the rest of your life.
