I recently got my hands on a review sampling of Ona Cookies — and let me tell you, I’m so glad I did. These clean, paleo-friendly cookies check all the right boxes: they’re gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, and protein rich, with no processed sweeteners or weird additives. Just simple, whole food ingredients like almond flour, healthy fats, and nuts that make each bite feel like an indulgence without the sugar crash.

Each variety has its own unique personality, and yes, I tried all three (for science, of course). Let’s get to it!

ona cinnamon raisen cookies

Cinnamon Raisin
These taste like a cozy, nostalgic hug. Think oatmeal raisin cookie vibes but leveled up with real-food ingredients and a hint of savory sophistication. The soft, chewy texture is spot-on, and the flavor combo of sweet raisins, rich walnuts, and warm Ceylon cinnamon — which is the fancy kind, by the way — makes each bite feel super comforting. I loved how the honey adds just enough sweetness without being overpowering.  I could totally see  pairing these yummy treats  with a cup of tea for an afternoon pick-me-up.

ona chocolate brownie cookies

Brownie-Style
Okay, wow. If you love a deep, fudgy chocolate experience (raises hand), the Brownie-Style Ona Cookie is going to rock your world. It’s intensely chocolaty thanks to dark cocoa powder, with a soft-baked texture that’s somewhere between a brownie and a cookie — basically, dessert perfection. The added walnuts and pecans give a little crunch and earthy richness, and the hint of sea salt and cinnamon ties everything together beautifully. This one’s decadent and nutrient-rich — my kind of multitasker.

ona maple pecan cookies

Maple Pecan
This flavor surprised me the most — in the best way. It’s sweet, but subtly so, with a natural maple syrup flavor that doesn’t feel sticky or artificial. The pecans are buttery and crunchy, and the whole thing is balanced with just a whisper of sea salt and cinnamon. These cookies are super satisfying without being overly rich, and the texture is pillowy-soft. I could seriously eat these for breakfast and not feel guilty about it.

Final verdict? Ona Cookies are a total win. Whether you’re strictly paleo or just looking for a better-for-you sweet treat, these cookies prove that wholesome ingredients and great taste can go hand in hand. I’m officially obsessed.
