Graham Nash Self Portrait Mirror Trio
Three Self Portraits By Graham Nash (All Photos By Gail)

You’d have to be dead from the neck up to not know who musician and songwriter Graham Nash is. Between his work in The Hollies and his decades-long collaboration in Crosby, Stills and Nash, he’s written some of the best-loved songs in the American rock catalog. Alice Cooper Band Joins 2011 Class of R&R Hall of Fame Inductees!

“I Think I Love It: I Love It To Death”

All five members of the original band called Alice Cooper will be inducted into Cleveland’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on March 14, 2011. Among their fellow performer inductees are Neil Diamond, Dr. John, Darlene Love, Tom Waits and Leon Russell. This was the first nomination for all inductees with the exception of Love, who was nominated twice previously. It’s unfortunate that nominee Donovan wasn’t also inducted, because then he and the band could have performed “Billion Dollar Babies” (on which Donovan sang back up) live at the induction ceremony. Talk about missed opportunities. The Worley Gig sends sincere congratulations out to all five members of the band that created Shock Rock – lead guitarist Glen Buxton (RIP), rhythm guitarist Michael Bruce, bass player Dennis Dunaway, drummer Neal Smith and vocalist Vince Furnier – without whose enduring influence bands like Kiss and Marilyn Manson would certainly be doing something else for a living.
