DC Comics has announced that the debut issue of its brand-new Batman series, written by Eisner Award winner Matt Fraction with art by superstar Jorge Jiménez, has smashed sales records with over 500,000 copies sold. Talk about a Bat-signal-sized success — and just in time for Batman Day on September 20th.
