In a world where the 80s never died, Super7 has blessed us with another fantastic set of their Reaction Figures that truly Shout at the Devil louder than Vince Neil on a coke binge. How happy does Nikki Sixx look in the picture above, where he is book-ended by Dennis Dunaway (Alice Cooper) and Kub Coda (Brownsville Station) on the left and Neal Smith (Alice Cooper) and Joe Bouchard (Blue Oyster Cult) on the right? Motley Crue Bassist and Renaissance Man Nikki Sixx was born on this day, December 11th, in 1958. Happy Birthday, Nikki!

Lita Ford, guitarist for The Runaways, ex-lover of Nikki Sixx and former singer of duets with Ozzy Osbourne was born on this day. September 19th, in 1958. While I’m sure she’s had a little bit of work done, she still looks pretty great, despite probably having done more than her fair share of partying back in the day. Happy Birthday, Lita!

Because, here’s the thing, Motley Crue – undeniable walking punch lines that they are – are nevertheless a bonafide gang of dangerous, ex-drug addict rock stars from an old school of Rock with a Capital R that, really, does not exist anymore. For this, I worship them openly. Continue reading Motley Crue Kick Start My Heart at Madison Square Garden!
