Shark Attack themed items are one of our favorite things to feature here on The Gig, but we also enjoy promoting interesting and unusual plush toys. Now you can own an oversized shark plush that’s actually a child’s sleeping bag, courtesy of artist/designer Kendra Phillips and plush manufacturer Patch Together. The ChumBuddy, as it’s being marketed, is a 7 foot long monster plush that will be available to ship in the 4th quarter of 2010. The good news is that you can pre-order this delightful, soft and cuddly menace of the deep right now for just $199.95 (includes free ground shipping to US addresses) at Patch Together! Shark Attack while you sleep!

Well, actually this is just the cover for what becomes a pretty swell-looking Shark Attack Bean Bag Chair once filled with 200 litres of beans, which are not included in the sale price of $19.95 plus shipping.

“Ouch! That Stings!”
Nothing shows the possession of a splendid sense of the morbidly hilarious quite like emerging from the surf in a wet suit designed to look as if you’ve just been mauled and partially eaten by a shark! Ho ho ho! Available in limited quantities, and by request only, from Dornob, where they have pictures of other wet suits that are also kind of wacky!
Judging from this picture, I’d say somebody has a pretty healthy sense of humor about having his arm bitten off by a shark.
