Gallerist Eric Allouche has relocated his eponymous exhibit space from the meatpacking district (where it was just across the street from The Whitney) to deep SoHo, which we think was a smart move. The gallery is currently hosting Now You See It, a show comprised of pop surrealist Ron English’s nostalgic skewering of favorite pop culture characters, from Breakfast Cereal Mascots to reimagined Star Wars characters.
While Baby Yoda surely exits, the same cannot be said for this Pink portrait of a diminutive, wide-eyed Son of Storm Trooper. He is Pretty cute!
Ron English’s Now You See It Will Be on Exhibit Through June 18th, 2023 at Allouche Gallery, Located at 77 Mercer Street in SoHo, NYC.
