If such thing had to exist, it’s appropriate that this Shark Attack velvet dress shirt was once owned by the great Sir Elton John. Embroidered on the back with his name, Elton and the head of a fierce shark, surrounded by tropical flowers, the shirt is part of a custom suit created for John by designer Gianni Versace around 1996.
The fun suit also includes a pair of cream-colored wool trousers with a velvet side stripe. Originally estimated to sell for between $4000 and $6000 at Christie’s recent Goodbye, Peachtree Road auction, the suit sold for the bargain price of $3528!
