The art world mourns the loss of Sir Brian Clarke, the visionary British stained-glass artist and painter, who passed away from cancer on July 1, 2025 — just one day shy of his 72nd birthday. Born in Oldham, Lancashire, Clarke transformed stained glass from ecclesiastical embellishment into a breathtaking architectural medium.

Clarke’s artistic journey began as a scholarship student at age 13. Over the decades, he pioneered works that blurred art and space —from majestic church windows to public installations and freestanding glass screens.

Guitar legend Sir Brian May of Queen took center stage at the Gibson Garage London on February 18th to launch his brand-new signature model: the Gibson Custom Brian May SJ-200 12-String acoustic guitar. This marks his first collaboration with the iconic instrument brand, and what better way to unveil it than with a surprise performance? The event also kicked off Gibson Garage Fest, a week-long celebration marking the one-year anniversary of the London flagship (located at 61-62 Eastcastle St).

Shark Attack Dress Shirt Owned By Elton John!

If such thing had to exist, it’s appropriate that this Shark Attack velvet dress shirt was once owned by the great Sir Elton John. Embroidered on the back with his name, Elton and the head of a fierce shark, surrounded by tropical flowers, the shirt is part of a custom suit created for John by designer Gianni Versace around 1996.
