Do you like cookies? I sure do. But I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a cookie snob. Most store-bought, packaged cookies just don’t do it for me. I want cookies to feel special — whether that means homemade-tasting, healthy, artisan, or just thoughtfully crafted. That’s why I love reviewing cookies from smaller, high-quality brands; I always suspect they’ll be delicious. And in the case of Isabella’s Cookie Company, I was right — these cookies are seriously yum. Let’s take a closer look.

Out of Isabella’s 30 tempting flavors, I received three of their most popular varieties: The Matinee, Rocky Road, and Isabella’s Original. Here are my findings:

Matinee

The Matinee is a nostalgic spin on oatmeal cookies — but with a fun, indulgent surprise. The soft marshmallows add a melt-in-your-mouth texture, while the almonds bring a nice crunch. The ratio of nuts, chocolate chips, and marshmallows is just right, making it the ultimate indulgence. Isabella’s Original

(With Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chips; Available With or Without Walnuts)

Isabella’s Original is a classic done right, with just the right blend of chocolate and peanut butter chips for a sweet-and-salty balance. The optional walnuts give it a more sophisticated edge, adding some earthy richness. It’s the kind of cookie you can enjoy anytime —whether you’re craving a quick snack or need a little dessert after dinner.

Since Isabella’s Cookies contain no preservatives, they have a shelf life of just 14 days — so if you’re not planning to finish them quickly (though that might be impossible), you may want to pop some in the freezer to keep them fresh. But truth be told, they probably won’t last that long!
