Talk about an unexpected alliance. Luxury fashion accessory retailer, Just One Eye has announced a new project based on a collaboration between renowned contemporary artist Damien Hirst and Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen’s handbag company, The Row. You can’t make this stuff up.
Created in a limited edition of 12 pieces in each of nine designs, and with a portion of each sale to benefit UNICEF, these works blur the line between high art and high fashion. Signed by the artist, each backpack features uniquely individual embellishments, from an assortment of prescription pills (an homage to the Medicine Cabinets series), to Hirst’s signature Spot Paintings.
