Keeping the “Fun” in your functional office wardrobe can be a challenge, especially when you often leave work and go directly to a social event such as a party, concert or gallery opening. You need to look professional for your day gig but you also want be comfortable and maintain a bit of edgy style for your evening look, without having to bring a change of clothes to the office. Fashion Bug is an established and popular clothing retailer that appears to have this scenario in mind with classic yet contemporary designs for their upcoming Fall 2011 collection, which they previewed last week at the Ace Hotel in Manhattan.

Hosted in one of the hotel’s luxury loft suites, Fashion Bug presented representative styles from both their casual wear collection – ranging from jean to dresses – alongside smart-looking and versatile office separates such as tailored slacks and knit tops paired with shorter length jackets, slim skirts and a variety of dresses that strike a perfect balance between the desk and the Disco.

Offering the much-sought-after one-stop shopping experience, Fashion Bug’s distinctive look includes a wide selection of footwear (boot and shoes), casual outerwear, hand bags and very fashionable costume jewelry. But I think what really sets Fashion Bug apart from other fashion clothing retailers are their extremely affordable prices (most separates are in the $30 – 50 range) and the “realistic” size offerings that go from size 6 to 30. While these fall fashions won’t be available for a few months, you can check out what Fashion Bug has to offer right now.
