The Field House launch party gives visitors full access to the heated instructional pool, Olympic-sized gymnastics center, two turf fields, and ninja + parkour center. The event, lasting from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and held alongside the Vanderbilt Open Streets festivities, will encourage athletes of all ages and levels to kick, dribble, swim, jump, tumble, and climb through activities, showcasing its world-class equipment and top-notch coaching synonymous with the trusted Chelsea Piers brand.

“We’ve done our research, and we feel strongly that this facility will meet the high demand for family-friendly sports programming in Brooklyn,” said General Manager Erika White. Among the many activities offered are recreational classes, summer and school break camps, competitive teams, leagues, birthday parties, special events, and private instruction for the whole family.

Building on almost 30 years of history in the Greater New York area, Chief Operating Officer Jessie Betts Dreyfuss noted that the mission of Chelsea Piers “remains rooted in using sports as a vehicle to instill values in our youth participants including dedication, self-confidence, teamwork, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence.” Dreyfuss added that the new Field House will be “more than just a sports facility; it is a home away from home that offers a safe space for youth and families to reach their personal best.”
