The team behind the wildly popular Dragon Fest and Panda Fest is launching an entirely new culinary celebration this summer: Eggcellent Fest, a one-day-only event dedicated to one of the world’s most versatile ingredients.

Taking place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Eggcellent Fest will transform Washington Square North (between University Place and Fifth Avenue) into an immersive egg-themed festival featuring more than 50 egg-inspired dishes from approximately 35 food and merchandise vendors.
