Elizabeth Garouste is a French designer known for her unique and imaginative approach to furniture and interior design. She gained recognition in the 1980s for her collaborations with interior designer Mattia Bonetti. Together, they formed the design duo Garouste & Bonetti, creating eclectic and artistic pieces that blended historical and contemporary elements.

Her stunning Auguste Buffet cabinet is comprised of black crackle-lacquered wood, with fluorescent red wrought iron detailing and legs, and a complementary red lacquer storage interior.
