Growing up in the South, they recall how politicians often tried to suppress the voices and creative output of those artists. “This is a love letter to them,” they said — a nod to an era when fashion and protest were inseparable.

For Prince Peacock, jewelry isn’t just adornment; it’s a visual declaration. “Fashion has always been the first visual aid in a time of protest,” they explained, pointing to everything from the sharp stylistic contrasts that followed the French Revolution to the countercultural looks of the 1960s. “I want these earrings to help people feel connected. It’s my way to reach out to others and tell them they aren’t alone.”
