Poster For George will be offered in two editions — Red and Silver — as a tie-in with the recent release of the CD Box Set, George Harrison: The Apple Years 1968-75. Both editions are limited to 400 signed and numbered copies. The posters are being sold one day apart and via separate webstores, as detailed below.

Week-Long Musical Tribute to Mark the Release of George Harrison: The Apple Years 1968-75
TBS’s late-night show CONAN is set to honor George Harrison next week with a full week of performances by some of the biggest names in music. Paul Simon, Beck, Norah Jones, Dhani Harrison & Friends and others will stop by Stage 15 at Warner Bros. the week of Sept. 22-25 to perform a live version from Harrison’s catalogue. On This Date, June 13th in 1970: The Beatles reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for the twelfth and last time with “The Long and Winding Road,” which spent two weeks on top. The album from which it was culled, Let It Be, also spent four weeks at the top of the album chart. On a personal note, Let it Be was the first album I ever bought with my own money when I was a kid, and I still have that copy.

Best. Band. Ever.
On This Date, January 30th, in 1969: The Beatles (accompanied by Billy Preston) performed their final concert on the rooftop of Apple’s offices in London. The played “Get Back,” “Don’t Let Me Down,” “I’ve Got A Feeling”, “The One After 909” and “I Dig A Pony.” The performance was halted 42 minutes into their set due to noise complaints.
