Bacon Thing Of The Day: Bacon Halloween Costumes!

Bacon Costume
Halloween Costume of The Year!

OK, I know that Halloween happened over a week ago, and I was a big loser this year because not only did I not dress up but, in fact, I did not even leave my house. I mean, it was raining out, for chrissakes! But Lisa over at Skulls & Bacon has just put up a cool post full of pictures of people all decked out and feeling festive in their Bacon Halloween Costumes. And that makes me feel almost like I was there, wherever these people were. Thanks, Lisa!

Yes, what you see is real, and this new level of wrong is a thing that exists. Happy Halloween, Bitches!

Skull Wall!

Skull Wall

Last year at this time, Worley Gig Dot Com celebrated the coming of Halloween with Skull Week, during which I literally blogged about nothing but skulls for an entire week. Scary! Skulls have somewhat reached their saturation point this year – what with the popularity of sites like Skulls and Bacon, I Want Your Skull and Skull a Day – but I like to get with the spirit of the season, so I am exploring scary themes about which to blog for the remainder of the week up to and including Halloween. Appropriately, I found this picture of a wall made out of human skulls. See more cool pictures and read the skull wall’s back story at this link.

Thanks to Neatorama for the tip!

Just in Time for Halloween: The Blood Stained Bath Mat!

BLOODBATH MAT
Bloodbath Mat” Get It?

I don’t usually consider myself to be in possession of a particularly sick sense of humor, but I do appreciate the twisted sensibility of this Blood Stained Bath Mat. Maybe that’s because I am currently immersed in trying to get caught up on three seasons of Dexter. Buy one for yourself (only $37.50, what a bargain!) at This Link!

Rip The Skull’s Vintage Halloween Postcards

Being a rabid collector of vintage Halloween memorabilia, someone going by the pseudonym of Rip The Skull has accumulated what might be the largest group of Vintage Halloween Post Cards ever seen. There are literally over 1400 thumbnail images of these amazing cards cataloged on just one of his/her many Flickr.com pages. I can’t help but get a vicarious thrill from someone who has such a wild passion for collecting.

This one is just insane!

Sadly, there were no postcards with pictures of Satan on them, but this one (above) looked pretty close.
