Hey what’s up. You might have noticed that the blog has been a little light on posts since Monday night. This is owing to the fact that Hurricane Sandy came knocking, literally, on my front door. The buildings where I live on East 14th Street were hit very hard, with flooding in all basements. Not to mention, but you can see I am about to, the fact that we are located just half a block from the Con Ed transformer that exploded so spectacularly shortly before lower Manhattan was blanketed in darkness for days that, as of this writing, still have not seen a return of electricity to our homes.
