It’s time for a Muppets Anniversary Celebration — Marvel Comics style! Celebrating 70 years of The Muppets, Kermit and the gang will star in a set of 10 variant covers featured on select Marvel comic books, set for release in October. Drawn by a lineup of leading Marvel artists, the artwork pays homage to iconic covers in Marvel history.

NYC-based Street Artist Denis Ouch has been busy lately painting images of Superheros in Face Masks all over the city. His most ambitious contribution to the series so far seems to be this monumental mural depicting masked-up versions of Superman, Batman, Thor (who technically is a God, not a Superhero), and Wonder Woman, accompanied by the urgent plea “Save Us Justice League” in white (and Ouch’s tag in pink).
The mural expands across two facades of the building at the corner of 8th Avenue and Greenwich Avenue (by the Mobil Station), in Chelsea.
NYC could use some saving, now more than ever I suspect.

Nobody throws a party quite like the Discovery Center in Times Square, but they out did themselves this past Thursday as a crowd of 700 invited guests gathered for the opening night launch of Discovery’s newest state-of-the-art exhibit Marvel’s AVENGERS S.T.A.T.I.O.N. – which is a must see attraction for Marvel Comics fans.
