Looking now at this Baby-Pink Toy Pickup Truck whose bed is filled with a cargo of pastel-colored eggs and tulips, it just seems so obvious that it should have been the week’s Pink Thing on Good Friday, but I wasn’t playing close enough attention. So, my bad — you get it two weeks later. Still in plenty of time for spring!

Photographed in the Front Window of TJ Maxx, Located on the Corner of West 57th Street and 8th Avenue in Manhattan.

OK, so the vanity plate on the front of this Toyota truck could be translated a couple different ways, I suppose. “DRV PNK” could also be “Drive Punk,” but I think that the pinkish-hued Delicate Arch that you see on the Utah State license plates indicates that this message is meant to read as “Drive Pink.” As in, Drive Pink, Bitches!

Case in point: Columbia Street. “Where The Fuck is That” you ask? It’s on the LES near Delancey, and walking north it eventually turns into Avenue D. But it was on Columbia Street,  that I saw this box truck idling in front of a grocery store, bearing Buff Monster’s awesome pink tag, along with his signature Mr. Melty character. Sweet.

Graffiti Truck Cern

I was on my way to snag a bargain at TJ Maxx when I spotted this rad graffiti truck parked on Pine Street in the Financial District. The abstract design looks like street art Picasso to me! I Googled the tag, “Cernesto” (visible at the top left corner of the truck) and discovered that the artist none other than Cern, a native of New York City currently based in Brooklyn.
