Summer may be the happiest time of the year in NYC, and that’s because we kick it off with Pride Month, which is celebrated for the entire month of June, and it is pretty awesome.

I’m a straight lady, but I am a strong LGBTQ ally and I enjoy supporting all causes that promote equality. Also, the city is just so much more beautiful in June, because look at all of these fucking Rainbows!

Even the MTA gets into it!

Once the calendar flips over to July, it’s huge adjustment for me mentally.

I wish it could be Gay Pride all year!

To try to keep the vibe going, I wear this badge on my hoody all the time.
