It was a fortunate accident that I ended up watching part of the Chinese Lunar New Year parade that crawled through Chinatown in Flushing, Queens just last Saturday. I say fortunate, because that is where saw this week’s fabulous Pink Thing: these Lotus Flower Dresses worn by a group of Asian dancers.

This Mural, which went up on June 15th, 2022, was located on First Avenue near 16th Street on the front window of the Stuyvesant Town Leasing Office, but was taken down in early August.
