The basic plot of the  1997 comedy film Good Burger revolves around the misadventures of two friends, Ed (played by Kel Mitchell) and Dexter (played by Kenan Thompson), who work at a fast-food restaurant called Good Burger. The movie is based on a recurring sketch from the Nickelodeon comedy series All That. If you’ve seen the film, you may recall that it featured a distinctive customized vehicle, known as the Good Burger car, used by the characters while making food deliveries.

The original Good Burger featured a 1975 AMC Pacer that had been customized with a giant burger covering the front end, along with several other thematic modifications to make it the official delivery vehicle of Good Burger. Since the AMC Pacer is no longer manufactured, the producers had to come up with an entirely new Burgermobile design for the film’s just-released sequel, appropriately entitled Good Burger 2. The new car was on display at New York Comic Con, and that’s where I got these photos!

The latest iteration of Good Burger’s sweet ride has a much more flattened burger on the front, making it more streamlined and also safer to drive. There are still French fries as windshield wipers, with even more fries sticking out of a container attached to the trunk. The hubcaps are still pickle chips, and there’s ketchup dripping over the sides of the burger. An interesting addition to the interiors is hot dogs as headrests.

Perhaps the biggest design upgrade: this new car is a sporty convertible! Good Burger 2 is currently streaming on Nickelodeon and Paramount Plus.
