If this exquisite float glass table looks familiar, you maybe recalling our feature on an equally mind-blowing Glass Block Chair from 2019’s Salon Art + Design by the same manufacturers, WonderGlass. A definite “Oh, Wow” statement piece of the 2023 show this past November, the translucent, blue/green/amber-hued Minosse C Table by Studiopluz stood out among the most innovative and breathtaking pieces on the floor.

Comprising a range of glass blocks set individually by hand, Minosse C Table draws inspiration from travels to archaeological sites throughout the Mediterranean, where the landscape yields to human will, and where human will yields to time’s ravages.

The object restages this duality – the absolute and the variable, the eternal and the ephemeral – in the slow decomposition from solid linearity, recalling our continuing fascination with ruins.
